What are Training and Development?

Training is a part that makes individuals in developing specific knowledge or skills in order to enhance performance in their existing jobs.

Training is a proactive, short-term practice for employees and processes, but development is a strategic, ongoing task for leadership.

Individuals take initiative in development with the goal of meeting an employee's future demand (Condon, 2019).

Importance of Training and development

Employee performance does have an impact on a company's profits. As a consequence, it is the responsibility of organizational leaders to realize the implications of training and development in determining employee and evaluation. Employee training & development are valuable.

The organization and its employees in achieving a range of initiatives, such as improving enthusiasm and a feeling of connection.

Stability, employee engagement, and the general competencies required to do a specific job are all factors to consider. In

Process of training and development

Employee training and development initiatives could exist at any level of the organization, particularly strategic, tactical, and operational.  Corporate strategy needs can be identified by senior members based on the organization's goals, objectives, and strategic planning. With the support of other business units, middle management is responsible for identifying needs at the operational level, after identifying the gap it can be planed training programmer according to the identified goals, objectives and strategies (odriguez & Walters, 2017)

Training and development is an essential to every organization. it's helps to increase the productivity and success of the organization as well.Training presents a prime opportunity to expand the knowledge base of all employees, but many employers find the development opportunities expensive. Employees also miss out on work time while attending training sessions, which may delay the completion of projects.
